Lunch at the Park Cafe

lunch in the park fashion

This is my fun outfit for a casual spring lunch! It’s fresh, functional, and fun.

I love the comfort of cropped khaki canvas “Edie” pants from Faithful The Brand (on sale)!  Best part! They maintain their shape throughout the day. Since purchasing them online (in early spring), these pants have become a staple for my travel outfit, casual day look, and even sported during work day (with black pumps and a blouse).

My “floppy brim” rag & bone fedora and the strand of pearls are the two fun pieces. The hat is especially great for a “put together look” – especially when you have not had time to do your hair! I ordered it online from Nordstrom last fall.

A jean jacket and a white t-shirt  are two great staples (next to a pair of jeans) in anyone’s closet. Old Navy has all the different colour washes you want in a denim jacket, and always at the right price! Because I love the feel of a soft white tee, I splurged here and purchased just that – a buttery soft AG  Kiara v-neck – and even went back to Danali to purchase a second one this year.

Lastly: I love shoes! They are my guilty pleasure. I was first introduced to Sol Sana at October Boutique and have since purchased a number of styles from Beverley (at October) and her team. Enjoy the spring in your step as we welcome a new season.

Happy lunch in the park!

  1. The Faithfull brand is new to me. How is the sizing on the pants (true to size?) ? There’s a few pieces I really like in this line…
I’m really enjoying your “Couture” posts – along with the others, of course. We share a similar style sensibility but I’m seeing some new things !

    1. Thank you Lisa. Glad you are enjoying the posts. I am normally an extra small or small (0-2). The pants I have on in the post are a US size 2. They are a looser comfortable. Their line appears to be looser fitting but I would not go any smaller based on the style. Thanks once again!
